Trenchless Works

We were the first company to apply trenchless technology (we started to apply this technology 15 years ago and installed thousands of kilometers of engineering systems), basing on global practice.

We have been applying trenchless technology in Lithuania for 15 years (we were the first company to start applying this technology and we have the greatest experience in this field), basing on global practice and the experience of our company.

Striving to offer high quality and modern services, we cooperate with English, German and Polish companies.
In some cases we rent multiplex machinery (e.g. for construction of “Maxima bazė”, we delivered the most powerful in Europe machinery from Germany to perform certain tasks).

We apply all existing methods of trenchless technology, as well as develop our own methods.

We apply trenchless technology for construction and renovation of pipelines, avoiding destruction of environment.

We apply trenchless technology for cleaning, repair and renewal of worn pipelines, installation of new pipelines or cables. Application of trenchless technology enables to avoid destruction of environment (thus preserving asphalt surface, sidewalks, trees, other greenery), blocking of traffic on the streets and reconstruction costs. Moreover, this technology enables to reduce the duration of construction significantly.

Trenchless technology is used in densely settled towns and old-town areas, under buildings, railways, roads, highways, airplane take-off and landing tracks, reservations, parks, swamps, forests and even under water bodies: rivers, ponds, reclamation ditches, lakes and other hard-to-reach places.

For each project, we select the applied technology according to location, complexity, financial possibilities and other factors.

We accomplish each project applying methods, individually tailored according to the location, complexity, terms, experience, financial possibilities and other factors.

We often apply combined methods of trenchless technology, as one technology is insufficient while installing or renovating pipelines in towns (some pipes must be laid near buildings, and some – in the middle of streets, etc.).

We also work in winter; we can perform our proceedings abroad.

We also work in winter, when the soil is frozen, under ambient temperature up to -5 C°. In exceptional cases we can work under ambient temperature up to -10 C°.

In summer and autumn, we work with full capacity, whereas in winter and spring we work with 50-60 % capacity.

We perform our activities in Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Estonia.

We are ready for the most difficult and complicated tasks. Challenging projects, impossible to the others, we patented our inventions.

Before starting each task, we perform geological soil analysis. Conditions for underground proceedings in Lithuania are complicated (as a result of formation by the passing glaciers), we seek for new solutions, therefore we became inventive. In locations of limited access (in the old-town streets), we apply our telescopic manhole system . Application of such manholes enables to reduce the duration and costs of works.

Cooperating with professors of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Department of Building Structures, we designed a solution for filling inter-pipes (hollows, emerging when an old pipe is installed into a new one). We invented a new grade of concrete and called it „lightweight concrete“, as the weight of this concrete is less than that of water. This concrete enables to install old pipes into new ones. While filling the empty cavities in inter-pipes, drying this concrete saves the pipe from bending (deformation). Thus potential dangerous situations are avoided, whereas the lifetime of freshly laid pipe is prolonged.

We worked in objects, refused by Danish specialists as a result of complicated conditions and potential high risk.

Trenchless technology.

Trenchless technology, as the name implies, stands for subsurface construction works where fewer trenches or no continuous trenches are required to be dug. It is a rapidly growing sector of the construction and civil engineering industry. It can be defined as "A family of methods, materials, and equipment capable of being used for the installation of new or replacement or rehabilitation of existing underground infrastructure with minimal disruption to surface traffic, business, and other activities."
